A student who already has a fellowship from another program could have an adjustment to obtain the regular biT rate plus the extra fellowship. Applicants who are already receiving support from other programs or fellowships should provide information about that support. If the amount paid from the other program exceeds the regular rat of biT program, the fellow may have an extra fellowship of $3000 per year from biT. Regular fellowships: Payments are calculated on annual basis (12 months of studies), but paid on a monthly basis. The first payment is done about a month after the candidate has been accepted by the fellowship committee. Amounts are retroactive from the beginning of the trimester. Extra and partnership fellowships: These fellowships are paid as on check. Fellowships received on a false information basis will have been refunded. |
